Greetings from a lovely restaurant in downtown Geneva! I am about to try the authentic Swiss dish called cheese fondue. I learned there is a special way to eat it. Can you guess how?
The secret is to scrape the cheese pot with the bread so that the cheese doesn’t burn on the bottom of the pot. Watch the video to see how it’s done:
Just in case you are ever in Geneva, here is a picture of the Auberge de Saviese restaurant where I went. I highly recommend it. Everyone was very friendly there. The restaurant owner suggested that I try the Half and Half cheese fondue made of gruyere AOC and vacherin AOC cheeses. It was delicious!
